about to start my 3l swop couple of questions

first will a set of genuine ford ex manifold gaskets for the 2.5 be suitable for the 3l
also have got a set of racebit headers, and intend to remove the egr valve, when i block off the uim feed, and vacumn pipe, will this effect the running of the car, does anything have to be done to the ecu when egr removed
at the moment with the 2.5 st24 engine, have fitted blanking plate between egr and uim, and blocked the vacumn pipe feeding top of egr valve. and there have been no issues so far

1. would be fine
2. the engine will run the same as it does now electronically...just the added 3l power!
