Ok I found a Taurus 3l in the jy 100k 5 miles on it $130 for yes that's why I'm asking now. Lol here's the thing it's a 99. I talked to Blu fuz and he told me that the castings were different and it was lower on hp 10ftlbs , 15hp I checked. My question is this reasonable to do any major changes to the bolting locations ect? Also my car is a 98 so return style what would I need to do to the fuel system? One really nice thing is its in a jy so I could swap timing covers ect right there and not get charged more .

That motor won't have a cam driven water pump so you'll have to spend a few hundred on a electric waterpump setup. Find a 01+ 3L instead.
