I just installed a port matched 3L in a CSVT. After fixing a short from the clutch switch it started right up.

Took it for a drive and it through 4 codes

P0103 mass or volume circuit high input
P1121 throttle position sensor A inconsistent with mass air flow
P1131 lack of Ho2s11 switches - sensor indicating lean
P1151 lack of Ho2s21 switches - sensor indicating lean

Anyone know what causes these?

There was a bunch of water come out of the hood right onto the MAF. Could that cause at least the first one?

So I went and dried out the MAF connections and cleared the codes. It's pulsing or bucking. After driving it for a while it seemed to work itself out. Once I stopped and restarted it only 2 codes came back.

P0103 mass or volume circuit high input
P1121 throttle position sensor A inconsistent with mass air flow

I'm going to try and swap out the MAF for another one and see if that helps.

Anyone got a better idea?

Okay, I swapped out the Maf and it's still bucking and hesitating.

But now I'm downto one code

P0103 mass or volume circuit high input (That's the generic name)

I'm running out of ideas, where is everyone?

I'd check the wiring to the MAF. Might be helpfully to run a continuity check from the ECM connector to the MAF connector to make sure there isn't any shorts.

It's all good now. Found out the previous motor had a short in one of the MAF wires and someone bypassed it. Which explains the P0103 mass or volume circuit high input. Once I disconnected it the car ran smooth and no more codes.
