What is my processor code

I have a 96 Mercury Mystique GS with the 2.5 and the ATX, I was looking up the XCAL2 and one of the guys at brenspeed.com said he would need my processor code how would i find this

look at the pcm ... have to remove the bracket that holds it in ...

it will be a code with 3 letters and 1 number. For example, mine is XXY2.

If you pull back the carpet under the glovebox and look up, you will see what looks like a metal box. There is a white bracket bolted down that is more than likely blocking the code. Unbolt that and you can read the code... Hopefully this helps!

Just in case he doesn't know where the PCM is...
