Contour on ebay Interesting

Yeah not to mention The Black leather inside. He knows soo much about this vehicle all the performance work done but doesnt know the interior color.Sounds fishy.IMO

A full set of headers a y-pipe from msds that are coated are ~$730 from MSDS. Extrude hone - $1000...gimme a break. The group buy price was $285. And look at the drivetrain upgrades! $1200 for a Torsen and over $500 for both the SPEC clutch and flywheel. Geez. Somebody needs to email this guy and ask if he has the receipts for these parts or if hes just making numbers up, because the prices for this stuff is extremely high. Hes trying to make it sound better than it actually is.

Someone should email him, I want to hear what he has to say. I shook my head when I saw the 1200 for a torsen myself. I am going to assume he would say that it was installed by the best of the best...and that they charged a little more to get it juuuuust right.

Yep, I did call about this car. I wanted to see if the price was a typo, it was not.

The sales lady was rambling on about all the "extras" this car had. I tried explaining that they won't get that price for the car (unless some sucker comes along) and all she said was "it has 12,000 dollars in "extras"".

She wanted to know if I was interested in the car and I said "not for that price" and she said "but it's a race car". I think she told me it was a race car three or four times.

It is a nice looking SVT but the sales lady really knew nothing about the car.

Only thing that makes it really worth it is the wing. That completely justifies the pricing being so high. I'm surprised everyone can't see that. With the addition of the wing not only do the engine and drivetrain work more efficiently, but all the parts double if not triple in strength, quality, and durability. I think $12k is not only a fair price but a bargain in comparison to all the hard work and money that was not spent.

I agree. He even came on here before saying that. Mods do not up the value of a car like dealers seem to think they do.

Dealers know that modifications don't add to value. A purely stock form of the vehicle will always bring more value to the table. These people are just holding out for that one person to come along so they can take his head off. Eventually they will either dealer trade it or send it to auction if it doesn't sell.
