was wondering if anybody makes the grill without the ford emblem also one that is painted black, i just saw pictures of it, and want one now also where do you get the mikro front slit at, thanks for the help
 
its a mesh type grill without the ford symbol, its all blacked out

You can't buy that anywhere. You have to modify it yourself.

The factory mesh is cut out and the chrome is stripped off and painted over.
 
the mesh youve posted in the above pic is the "stazi gen 1" mesh. Hes a member on here who sells mesh, although im not sure if that mesh is available anymore. I believe he only sells the gen 2 which is a bit larger mesh.

The actual grill ring is something that people do themselves and is not part of the mesh. They just have it painted.
 
anyway to do this on a pre98? I have always seen this for post 98's and never really looked at doing this. But I think it would really help with my car looking more sexified.

as far as i know the bodykits wont fit contours without extensive modification

the angel eye will be RHD and so wont be suited for your roads

the grill, should fit the contour

Ford98svt, you might want to read the "Read me First" in the Aesthetic branch. This very topic is covered since it gets asked so frequently.

Btw, you may use poor grammar and puncuation however you like, but bypassing the langauge filter isn't tolerated.
 
I hate people that don't write right(see that was a small tongue twister and my grammar still managed to stay intact). I'm an english major so I'm a little biased, but come'on people if you can't spell it then you shouldn't be saying/writing it. :nonono:

so i posted about a grill and now you guys are complaining about grammar, to get back on subject, you are saying that the mondeo grill will fit on the contour, or do you have to change something,
 
Check the "aesthetics - read first" sticky under the "Aesthetics" forum. It has a section about different mesh patterns people use for their grill and how to modify your stock oval to use said different mesh grills.
 
so how much longer do you think this fordsvt98 kid is gonna last? i'll give it till the end of tonight with the mouth on him
