Diablo sport revolution chip 1998 csvt

bought a diablo sport chip off my buddy who had it in his '98 csvt. Scrapped all the glue off the ecu and plugged it in, but it wont turn the fuel pump on. It lets the car turn over just wont fire. Anyone have any ideas. The chip was installed and tuned in my buddies car dont know if that would make a difference or not.

Do you both have the same PCM code? If not it won't work. Even if they both did the chip isn't going to do much.
