Ok got it done today. BUT lost the lower radiator hose clamp in the process. Initially I looked for the drain plug described above and didn't see it (found it later!) so I removed the lower hose. I had the clamp compressed in some pliers and while attempting to slip it back on the hose it popped out of the pliers, I heard a metalic sound as it bounced of of an engine part while traveling upwards faster than the speed of light into never never land. I looked for several minutes to no avail. I don't like leaving loose stuff floating around but admittedly it is packaged pretty tight and hard to see around things such as the A/C compressor.
