Although many of us have our windows tinted out there, still many follow the letter of the law and will not do this until the law is changed and what a way to stimulate the economy....allow window tint! I for one think there should be a percentage allowed (35% IMO) and while many people would be getting their windows tinted they might look at other products at the place, usually owned by the small business man (like my buddy Jeff at DJ's Window Tinting in Eastpoint) Even in Michigan the sun does shine here, especially today and what a relief it would be to filter out a chunk of those hot rays:shrug:

Maybe the next Gov, hopefully Mike Cox, will look into something like this, I mean Illinois did it recently, why can't we:confused:

Fuggin still tint all my windows. Never get pulled over or any issue so never care about the law. Don't get too dark on the fronts and you're fine.

or go to the eye doctors and complain about bright light in your peripheral vision when driving, they can write a note for it so you can legally have it

Its true actually. My old mans docter was going to give him one.

You can get the note, but it still does not stop an officer from writing the ticket. They typically won't, and if they do you'll have a chance of fighting it but they are still within their right to write you the ticket.

You get the point douche

I'm just glad to hear all the drunks and druggies are off of the road and the police can worry about tint, oh yeah, no more threats of terrorism too, geez, I feel soooo much better now:rolleyes:

Tints are overrated, soak some rays you pasty bastids.

In Texas it is a bit ridiculous, though. Limo tints are kind of the thing down here. Cars without tints are quite uncommon.

I got pulled over the first day with my tints, and again 2 days later. I loved my tints and they really did help with the sun seeing as my eyes are super sensitive to light.

I asked my doctor about a note and we talked about it for like half an hour. He said eye doctors can actually write a prescription for tint. But not many will do it because in order for a judge to accept it you have a have a real serious eye condition like cataracs or glaucoma. He said a lot of doctors will write a prescription for them, but risk loosing their license for false prescribing. To get a real note that will be permissible in court you need a real problem and a specialist to sign off on it.

false.

Tint rocks, it makes being in the car during the summer and winter time more relaxing, I think. Plus the car doesnt get as warm during the long hot summer days, so it doesnt take as long to cool off after driving a short amount of time.

I got LIMO tint all around and 35% on the front windshield you cant see S#!? and i hav ehad it for over a year never got told anything here in okc
