Kind of makes me think this is Royal Oak with the Mongolian BBQ in the background.

They look bad ass. The front end reminds me a lot of the current- gen Evo's. And is it me, or does the RS look huge in these pictures? I'm not getting enough reference scale and it's throwing me off.

I'm glad you have so much insider info. What would we ever do without your fantastically accurate insight?

Cry? Whine? Complain? :)

Ford themselves said AWD was never seriously considered. Its the fanboys that begged and pleaded for it (even though they probably werent going buy one anyways).

Um, the guy you're talking to is the business...has been for some time...so your press release regurgitation of information is turd worthy at best. :troutslap:

Sorry. Just answering a question from earlier in the thread that no one had answered yet.

Apparently you have no idea why Ford even considered remaking the SHO?

In all honesty I know why they considered it but I'm not sure why they actually went through with it. Yes its a great show piece of the new turbo engine but with its price and transmission choice I dont see it being a runaway hit although they probably didnt envision that.

So is this gonna be a gray market car like the Cos Escort or are they actually gonna ramp up production here like they've kinda rumored about?

Jost Capito the head of team RS pretty stated from the earliest press releases that the car was always set to be FWD mainly due to cost, the fact an all wheel drive car costs you power and the main factor is there adapted front driveshaft/suspension setup named 'revoknuckle' which claims to eliminate torque steer from this near 300bhp car.

lots of you tube vids to back up exasctly how it lays the power down well and wihtout much fuss.

id have one in a heart beat but i havent got £25,000 to buy one lol.
cant see it being feasable to my little boys left home :laugh:

I heard they were planning on bringing this to the states... but man I wonder what the price is going to be on that thing... probably mid $30k's to low $40k's.
