Air Conditioning

Can anyone else feel their car jerking or bucking while their AC is running? I noticed this on the interstate at about 70 mph, engine RPMS at about 3000.

Really? MY svt doesn't do this...but my SE does....and it pisses me off

my 98.5 svt does the same .. you can even feel it with cruise on

Is it working properly? I noticed mine di that when it started short cycling due to low refrigerant. After recharging it went back to normal.

Definitely get the AC level checked. Thats a classic sign of the compressor cycling funky because the pressure is off.

I was starting to think low pressure, but Ive had cars with lower freon levels and it cycles, but not to the point where I can FEEL it at cruising speeds!

My SVT does it a little. My GL didn't do it when the a/c worked. Now it has no a/c.

Quick fix.... Remove air. Replace serp belt. Install new air conditioner.... WD55, it's the model I use and it works great. And as a note, not to argue with a mod or anything, but bucking is never good. We like to call those driveability problems and get paid good money to fix em.

Uh, I didnt understand what you were trying to say... Replace belt? Remove air? WD55?
