Actually, it is from where I took the "anti-squeak" plate off of the back of the pad, but I agree, it is ugly. Funny thing is, the other side isn't nearly as bad - same brand pads too.. f'ing strange...

Nice work! I like the black SVT logo. I did white on mine and I think they stand out a little more than I'd like.

You really should have painted the rotors while you were in there. The fresh painted calipers really makes the rust stand out more.
