just out of curiousity, how well does the duratec take boost? ... what kind of hp numbers are realistic on totally stock internals ...

the block and crank are reportedly good for over 1,500 hp. someone else will have to chime in one the rods and pistons though.

stock escape rods and pistons will hold a TON.. lol. a cylinder FULL of water (which won't compress) only bent (and not terribly) the rod. That's gotta say something, right?

Blew the engine and decided he had dumped enough cash into it. Didnt want to rebuild it again.
