oil leak!

Has anyone ever had an oil leak that leaks onto their y-pipe. I can't tell where its coming from. Its getting on the alternator too. I can't tell if its coming from up high by the valve cover ot if its coming from the oil pan. Just wondering if you guys would know where its coming from and if there is an easy fix.
 
Check the oil filter first. Most times, that is where it leaks if you had the oil changed at a "quick lube" place. They do not tighten it well enough.

yeah but he said its getting on the alternator also ...


I have the same leak, not sure if it is the valve cover or the front cover ...
 
I noticed it when I changed my oil over the weekend and the oil filter was clean. Its also starting to splash up on the firewall. maybe its getting on a pulley somehow?
