just drill a hole in the end, and stick it in where the pictures show on the old archives place.

I have one in and its a world's difference. I also helped a CEg'r with his, he didnt have the right drill bit so we opt'd to use a slightly bigger bit. and it works the same.

I'm guessing the hole size just regulates the air flow. Too much equals hang, not enough equals stall outs


oh, and its normal for the Car's idle to be all over the place when you first start it up with the cap in. it'll settle out.

Maybe I'm slow or something, but what is it that you are using the pipe cap for?

The V6 Duratecs have a condition called throttle hang. Sometimes, the RPMs stay at 2000 or so when changing gears. This drilled copper cap helps the rpms go down when changing gear.
