What to do think it would look if i paint the spokes black but leave the rest the color it is?

the problem with that is i dont think that would be enough contrast. to much black in there

Paint the whole rim black or dont do it at all. That weird lip is funky looking in silver.

Is there a distinct cut-off/line/edge between the spokes & the rim or do the spokes curve onto the rim?

If there's an edge, it'd look pretty good...use a high gloss black

could you do a shop of the spokes silver as they were, but the rest black? probably look really weird but im curious how the 'floating spokes' would look

They looked good painted but I say go big or go home ... paint them all black everything else on the car looks blacked.
