royal purple sythetic oil change

i have always used mobil 1 synthetic and i went to royal purple synthetic and my car has never ran so good.. .. has anyone else used royal purple in there car?
 
I do in both cars. It gets expensive though. My dad says after I am done with the oil (every 5k) he is going to use it in his cars since it still looks new.
 
I used Royal Purple my last oil change and like it enough to use it next time. It may be my imagination, but the car seems to rev smoother, especially at low and high revs.
 
Its dyno proven to mostly be your imagination. Blind studies where people were told they had RP in the engine produced almost the same results as people that actually had it. Thats not to say its not good oil because the used oil analysis data comes back great. Its a steal if your autozone has it on secret clearance for $1.

I'm definitely not making performance claims, but my engine does feel smoother -- mostly @ 1-2k and 5.5k+.

And it seems to have fixed my moonroof gear too. No issues with that since switching to Royal Purple. :p

Imagination? Who knows, but I like it.
 
Over on BITOG people are finding that their AZ stores are clearing out the RP oil in the computer system but even the folks at the counter dont know about it. Ask them to ring up a bottle and hit subtotal to see if the price drops to 99 cents like some folks are reporting.
 
When I purchased my car used with 28,000 miles on it, I changed out the oil to Royal Purple, and that is ALL I have ever put in there.

I like it!
