Polished Headlights Pics

Although not the worst condition I've seen, my headlights almost made my car fail it's safety test. Anyway, I took some Turtle Wax rubbing compound to them the other weekend and here's how it went...

i like starting with just the heavy compound and a hi speed buffer...(( i cheat and use an angle grinder and a stiff cloth pad, Works GREAT))

What applicator did you use?, the lenses look a little scratched in the last pic

I'm gonna try a buffling wheel like stated above.
 
Big improvement. I sanded mine and then ended up getting a new passenger light due to my accident. Now i want a new drivers side because the wetsand just can't touch a new light. Still, i loved them when they were both wetsanded.
