Ac clutch is out need help!

Well the ac clutch is out and im wondering what this means? I'm I going to have an issue If I dont fix this? What's the best way to fix this? Is it costly? Thanks

Unless the clutch is LOCKED up (engaged) etc, then why would you NEED to bypass it?

it free spins when it isn't engaged..
 
Unless the pulley bearing is shot. Does the A/C work, and give out as you drive longer? If it does, the clutch could be adjusted.
 
its on an svt, and no the ac does not work at all, I dont care much about the ac I dont use it anyways. So if I just put a non ac belt on I will be ok?
 
I'd pull the clutch off the a/c compressor and see if it has any shims behind it, if so, you can remove those and reinstall it and the clutch may engage again meaning a/c may work again. It is very easy to do and having a/c is a good thing to have if there's any ladies in your life who ride in your car.
