Will the Focus shifter work in the Contour?

I have seen some short throw shifters advertised as for the Focus and Contour and other as specifically Focus.

Will either work on a Contour? Or is there something different about the ones that are marketed to both models?

depends on what it is ... if you want the least headaches, ie a broken shifter stick with the b&m or the steeda ...

It has to be a 00-02 Focus shifter, they changed the design 02+

So the Steeda or B&M Focus shifter from 00-02.5 will work in the Contour?

as long as its made for the car with a mtx-75.

Go with the steeda, its way more impressive.

i've driven contours with both shifters, the steeda is WAY better than the B&M
