Cougar manifold on zetec?

I'm looking to build my own exhaust system from the ground up (well, manifold down) and I had heard in the past that you can use a cougar exhaust manifold on the zetec head and that it's a higher bore with less restriction on the flow. I tried to look it up, but the only thing I could find was something about a 4 cyl cougar in the UK.

What year cougar would this work with?
Where could I find this part?
Is the cougar manifold really better, and what size is it?
 
I think he's talking about the stock exhaust manifold if I'm not mistaken. Most everyone on here knows about the Cougar header...

yes, that's what i was talking about, but i really like the weapon r one he referenced, and it's 2.25", which is just what I was looking to go to, so I think I'll go with that. thanks.
 
The primaries from a Cosworth designed Focus ST170 and Jetex bends and Y that I am going to use.
