that is the second 95 contour that i actually like the chrome strip on. All the rest i've seen look terrible and/or are chipped. nice work keeping it clean.

I like the bumper 'chrome' strips.
I have other cars to drive as dailies.
I gave it a complete cleaning then covered it.
Was afraid to drive it.
Back in 1996 I bought my one and only new car.
I wanted a Contour SE in champane with tan leather, mtx, moonroof ...
Instead, the dealer worked me a great price on a leftover.
A 1995 SE, teal with gray leather, atx and no moonroof.
And my youngest daughter absolutely loved the color.
So I got it, but sold it two years later.
A long story.
Then in 1994, a friend who has a used car lot had the one you see here.
He gave me a great price and ... I purchased it on my youngest daughters birthday.
I think of it as retribution, a purchase made by the heart.
It is fully loaded minus leather.
But I have a leather interior to install ... sometime.
I have other cars to drive as dailies.

It is Hoffman Ford.
I did attend last year, but I took my 89 XR7 SC.
I've been attending that show since it's 2nd year.
I use to take my 68 Cougar.
My 95SE is bone stock.
I did add a power antenna and I'll be changing the cloth interior to leather.
I may be adding a Pioneer system.

God I love those wheels, shame they are so small.
Just have an image in my head, black pre 98 Mystique, those rims, white lettering tires, and se ground effects.

Nice lookinng SE. Looks exactly like my old LX except I had SVT wheels. When that teal is clean man does it look good!! most people thought it was kida a wimpy color and couldnt believe that i had my repainted the same color but i really like that color. your car definitly brings back memories....

And i also liked the chrome strip, definilty dressed it up imo. your car definitly brings back memories....
