Well, the Jeep is about where I want it, after a month of ownership. Just got the WK back last night, and of course it's snowing outside, in typical Colorado fashion. Didn't stop me from taking pictures in the middle of it though! Definitely getting some rubbing on the rear of the front wheel wells, so I'll have to tackle that pinch weld this weekend. Weather is supposed to clear up this weekend, so the fiance and I are taking it up Moody trail here in Northern Colorado, so hoping to get some fun pictures from that easy run.

Installed all the factory skid plates, tow hooks, and "taillight guards" (completely aesthetic). I've got some stickers to put on the rear quarter windows, the only place stickers belong on an SUV, IMHO. I'm running Russ' complete set of 4xGuard skids, Front HC, Rear HC, Belly Guard HC, and HC Rock Rails. Daystar 2" Budget lift with 265/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers. Tires are running GREAT so far, pretty darn good in the wet and better than stock highway manners with the daystar lift. Threw a Receiver shackle on the back for a decent rear tow point. Front windows tinted to match rears. I've got a black front grille in the mail, just too much chrome for me up front. Without further ado, tons o' pics of the WK from stock to where it's at now.

Stock, day I brought it home:

Do you have quadra trac II or quadra drive II?

I used to be kind of a big deal over at Jeep's advertising agency of record, BBDO. I was the product information specialist on the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Commander. I miss working there.

BTW the mods are incredibly tasteful! Looks great!!

Just the QT-II. Still pretty damn capable with the brake controlled limited slip, but nothing like the fully locking front and rear diffs of the QD-II. Trying to find one with QD-II without the Hemi (awesome power, but just too much guzzling for a DD) and with the options I was looking for was taking me months, so I settled for the 4.7 V8 with QT-II. It's not going to be an offroad MACHINE, just something that I can and will take offroad on occasion and I want to know I can do it without worrying too much about getting stuck or killing part of my undercarriage. Thanks for the comments, I didn't want anything over the top, just what I felt like would be the true "Jeep Offroad Package", if the Jeep beancounters would have had the cojones to build one. They built a couple one offs with aftermarket 4x4 companies, but never put their money where their mouth was. Nor did they even produce the option to purchase the upgrades they did to their one offs as dealer accessories. Jerks!:p

Nice ride Chris, hope you enjoy it. Great color and tasteful mods. Got to love the last blast of winter in CO. My toys are put away for now. Hope to hangout sometime in the future. -B.

Hah good to hear from ya! How's life treating you? Looks like you've rolled through your share of rides. Hoping to keep this one for quite some time. Treat it right and pray that it treats me right back. I'll be moving to Virginia come the end of the summer, so time's limited, but let me know if you come up to NoCo and we'll get some brews.
