Well, the Jeep is about where I want it, after a month of ownership. Just got the WK back last night, and of course it's snowing outside, in typical Colorado fashion. Didn't stop me from taking pictures in the middle of it though! Definitely getting some rubbing on the rear of the front wheel wells, so I'll have to tackle that pinch weld this weekend. Weather is supposed to clear up this weekend, so the fiance and I are taking it up Moody trail here in Northern Colorado, so hoping to get some fun pictures from that easy run.
Installed all the factory skid plates, tow hooks, and "taillight guards" (completely aesthetic). I've got some stickers to put on the rear quarter windows, the only place stickers belong on an SUV, IMHO. I'm running Russ' complete set of 4xGuard skids, Front HC, Rear HC, Belly Guard HC, and HC Rock Rails. Daystar 2" Budget lift with 265/70/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers. Tires are running GREAT so far, pretty darn good in the wet and better than stock highway manners with the daystar lift. Threw a Receiver shackle on the back for a decent rear tow point. Front windows tinted to match rears. I've got a black front grille in the mail, just too much chrome for me up front. Without further ado, tons o' pics of the WK from stock to where it's at now.
Stock, day I brought it home:
Modded, in today's snowstorm:
Nitto's:
4xGuard Rock Rail:
Any questions or comments, feel free!
