April 26th - Time Trials in Bremerton

The time trials is basically a timed open track event.

Do I need a helmet? So just for Saturday it looks like $90. Also do we pay when we arrive? Or mail it in? I'd like to put my Quaife to the test.

Yes you need a helmet. You're supposed to pay and mail it in to pre-register i believe. That's what they would prefer anyway.

The autoX's are like 35 bucks or 25 if you're an SCCA member.

This would be my first time going. Is the 26th going to be a full track or a cone setup like auto-x?

It's a cone setup, but it's like a set up like a track rather than an AutoX.

Bremerton Complex doesn't have a permanent track. So it's set up with the big markers and cones.

I just read on the Suby boards that for the TT only events they will be using a shorter course which might be better for beginners.. bring the speeds down some. I know i'll be a little intimidated hitting 120-130 mph.

On weekends when they are going to Race and do TT they will be using the long course in the vid i linked to.

Sounds good, I have about another 150 miles left on my clutch break-in. So she should be ready to go by then.
