So, im pretty sure my SVT is boned. On my way home it started clacking lightly, this progressed to loud clacking and squeaking and got ever louder until I limped it home.
I'm just wondering what you guys would do in my shoes...
Its my only car, I have a motorcycle which can get me to work, but the main issue here is I need to take my son to daycare everyday so that I can go to work. So basically I need to do something very soon, because i cant take too many days off of work.
Being a single working parent, I don't generally have the time to do a lot of mechanical work... So realistically, doing a 3.0l swap isn't going to work for me. Especially when i'm lacking the money in the first place.
I'm thinking my only realistic option is to sell it in its current state and buy a beater...
