Does anyone here have any info on two codes that we supposedly covered under a maintenance notice to have the computer reflashed? My 99 has two codes having to do with the cat converter flow and emmisions. I was told to take it and have the computer reflashed. Any help or info would be appreciated.

It would help if you posted the codes.....

It would be the cat ineffeciency codes. IIRC, P0420 and P0430.

Your 99 may not have been part of the TSB that tells about the new flash to widen the paramenters for setting those codes. It may not have been a warranty issue. If it is, it would be a debate as to if the reflash is coved for the 7/70 (California) or 8/80 (non California) emissions warranty.
