They are exactly the same shape. However, the manuals came with a single small rear cupholder, and the automatics came with dual small cupholders. If you do happen to find a manual console, as BrApple was saying, you will need the shift "boot," which is actually a large plastic piece in the case of the automatic that has the sliding gear indicator.

Not like it matters, both "cupholders" are about as useful as telling your dog to hang on to them for yah.

Considering they are the same console, then yeah.
Oh ok. I got it now. For some reason I thought that that openings for the shifters were different. I need to get more sleep...

They are different, but that's just one piece of the entire console. Just use the correct bezel/trim depending on what transmission you have.
