motorcraft 820S oil filter thread

if the zetec is a 3/4-16 and the FL-300 fits it, then it is the same thread as the FL-1A cause the FL-1A is 3/4-16.

for some reason i was thinking that the FL1A was what was used on the SVT. :troutslap: for me

even still though, i would not consider the FL300 a small filter by any means. i have to have my oil filter wrench on the largest setting and it just barely fits. it is about the same height as the stock SVT one though so if there is room for the diameter just not height then go for it.

Definately the same. I've used both filters (FL-1-A and FL-300) on my XR's.

The FL-300 is about 2" shorter than the FL-1-A.
