Ohio blizzard of '08

17" inches officially here in North Ridgeville. Hopefully the turnpike is cleaned up when I go back to Toledo tomorrow.

just to add to the thread, heres whats going on in the pic... Cop A is in the charger getting donuts. Cop A gets stuck in the snow before the drive thru. Cop B comes to save the day! only to get stuck about 2 feet behind Cop A. they must have been out there for at least 45 minutes trying to get their cars out. Two middle-aged women come over and first push out Cop B, then proceed to make Cop A look like a little girl when they push his car out in a matter of seconds.

HAHAHAHAHA.....anything for a donut, I wish I could have heard the radio call in for help

Im surprised they were even open.....everything was closed out my way, I had to eat at denny's and they had no heat, yuck!
gas stations, grocery stores, restaurants.....everything was freaking closed!

I love driving in this stuff though, I was cruising around all day yesterday

Should have came to the Denny's down here where I work, the heat is always working....too well in fact.
Edit: My stupid gravel driveway is somewhat cleaned off I cleaned off a part to just get the car and truck in there and I came back from wal-mart and backed the Escort in and well started to slide in one part and drifted off to the right a foot or so, and my right front got stuck, so just a few minutes ago I went back out and tried again and finally got the left wheel to spin and got it unstuck. I love that tough little Escort. :D

I had the pleasure to drive thought that snow on my way from Detroit on I-80.. lovely stuff on summer tires... NOT!

I had a lot of plans this weekend and decided, screw the snow

Friday night I drove up from Cinci to stay with a friend and party in Dayton. My friend and I found out I75 southbound was closed.. so we decided to drive north Saturday night from Dayton to party up at ONU. Roads were a sheet of ice.. good thing we made it

It was an adventure to say the least.. thank god for snow tires. My SVT is shot.

We had a small storm in Cali this weekend too, two clouds showed up and cast a shadow for about a hour then left to catch up with its friends in Ohio.....

I live in Elizabethtown, KY & we got 14 inches of the stuff. I left the CSVT under the carport & took my parents van & went sledding. This is the most snow we've had here in about 10 years.

WOW!! I guess you guys really would hate to hear that it was 72 and partly cloudy down here in South Florida today!!!

We'll be ready to remind you of our healthy high-70s temperatures when mid August comes around. :)
