36 car crash in rochester...

today there was a 36 car pileup on 390 north in gates... 1 person died and a bunch more injured. here are some links...

Expressway was shut down for awhile after this happend... Sucks that someone died... But it could have been a lot worse than it was, prares go out to the families...

There was a 60 some pile up on 81-N near Hazleton. 1 girl was killed.

I was on 81-S when the white out came through and I literally could not see the car in front of me. I think traffic was moving at about 30mph and it lasted for about 5 miles.

A good friend of mine from work was in this. You can actually see her car in the 2nd link, last picture it is the dark blue VW...

She's doing fine though. A little sore but other than that she's doing well.

There were some crazy white-outs here today. Anywhere there are open fields around here there were 4-5" of snow blown into the road.

She's doing alright, she went to school today although from what she said, she's still in pain.

If i would have went to work a little early i could have been in it too... instead i was an hour late because of the whole deal... good to hear your friends ok.
