i want to put a new head unit in my car, one with a fold out touchscreen and i was looking at this one http://www.soundstream.com/indash-monitor-dvd-vir7860.htm
is there anyone out there with a soundstream head unit?
good quality?
i have dealt with a few soundstream amps in the past and loved them..
any input would be appreciated..

Never used the HU's. I do know the older amps kicked butt, Can't say how the newer stuff is, though, what with so many old school companies being taken over, it's hard to keep track of who's who anymore.

the sound stream in our shop is a lil to much on the cheaper end....i have heard them and they dont sound or look as good as you may think. but if its price your going for i would really take a look at the Valors!:shocked: great price and look awesome....do a great job for i would recommend it to everyone for the price.

if you are going to spend the cash to put a flip out in your car you are WAY better off in the long run to buy a quality unit. take a look at the Kenwood KVT-719
