ok so im about to buy another contour svt 98 model black
18 inch wheels (in rough shape but new tires)
new headlights
new alternator but isnt working for some reason
new cv axles
new brakes and front bearings
almost new plugs and wires new battery
all four new 02 sensors
paint is scratched here and there but not faded missing rubber stips on roof
the back drivers door wont open
leaking slave cylinder or line but new clutch
freshly rebuilt tranny but 3rd gear synchro is bad
perfect leather good interior
has 98k miles


what is it worth

i wouldnt pay 2k for that. maybe 1k. i've passed up way better deals than that. i passed up a mint silfro svt with 65k. the guy was asking 1800. im still kicking myself...

OP: Seems as though the car has been beat on. I'd be careful. I think it'd be more beneficial if you find an SVT with a blown motor and do a 3L swap.
