Did all the Contour SVT's come with remote lock/unlock? I have tried to program keypads from a mercury sable to no avail. Is there anyway to make sure I have it before I go off and buy contour keypads?

yes all SVTs should have keyless entry ... look for the following, the keyless entry unit is on the right, pcm is on the left

also make sure any remote that you purchase has the following numbers on the back

FCC ID: GQ43VT4T
DOC: 1470 K763
 
Thanks. The keypads are from a sable I had a hand in totalling. They clearly don't work but I'll check to make sure the box is there.
