Just figured I'd let you know , you were right ! Changing the serpentine belt seems to have fixed my chirping/squeaking noise I was getting under acceleration 
. I guess the true test will be the next time I fire it up from cold (heading to the next meet Nov 5th) . I also took your advise & went for the Gatorback . Thanks !
