Brake light LEDs

Does any one know what size LED bulbs work for the rear brake light and interior sun visor lights.

Mine burnt out the first time.. and I think it happened when I was messing with my battery. I bought them a second time, no issues. Great bulbs!

Here are the brake light bulbs, but when you use them your turn signal is going to blink rapid as though your bulbs are out because of the lower voltage or watts or amps. Whichever one applies

Yeah it doesn't really bother me, so i never bothered getting them. As long as it doesn't do any long term damage leaving it like that

no...not the tailight/brake lights the 3rd brakelight. the light in the rear window. cant seem to find the bulbsize on the bulbs anywhere.
I tried searching but keep coming up with an error page for some reason.

bought some this weekend. 2723 i believe. They are not LED, they are standard bulbs. If you want LED, then you will not want the stockers.

I have a couple 3rd brakelights that I put LED's into. Red 5mm with resistors soldered in. PM me if you are interested in one.

You would blow the LEDs.

Yeah, LEDs are only rated like 3.5 volts (they're all different)... you need a resistor to pretty much burn off the other 6.5V.

If you don't get what a resistor is, then you probably aren't ready to be putting in LEDs yourself. Read up on how LEDs work. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LEDs

Then read up on resistors. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resistors

Once you get the basics, then you can start using calculators to figure out the resistor values needed.
