production number

I'm honestly not sure, I don't know how to interpret the codes in the build info. I know it was delivered to the dealer on May 8, 97 and not sold until Oct. 2, 97, but I'm not sure what the code "R" next to Fleet/Retail/Co. Lease is for.

My expectation there is that R is in fact for Retail. An SVT would sure be an oddball fleet selection. I can see it being leased to a company if the owner was a Ford fanatic and wanted to write off a slick company car.

carfax on my buddies csvt showed that it was a rental car at one point in its life...no wonder the clutch had to be replaced at 71k:nonono:

Here is another idea
(sorry for the dirty pictures)

If i cant think of a GOOD original idea for my car, I might steal your idea blackE1. I like that a lot, nice and clean and not too flashy. How did you get those numbers made? Or where did you purchase them?

I will not take someone else’s glory because I didn’t find the web site on my own. I found it through another CEGer. Not sure who brought up the web site but this is the place I and a few others ordered from.

I am very happy with the result. Having the build number on my car is the number one question about my svt. People ask because they think it looks stock and want to know what it means.

Did you say your SVT came with a dash clock? (I think only E0 came with them, besides a few E1's who finished out the parts bin)

Your coolant gauge should be another clue, what does it look like? (Correct me if I am wrong but thought that was a difference)
