Tuning for venting valve covers to atmosphere...

ECU is expecting more air in the intake than you will be providing, so I would imagine you would want to lean it out slightly. I wouldn't bother doing this without a good wideband A/F sensor/guage.
 
What i got from this article is that they are bypassing the PCV/Valve cover vents completely without it affecting AFR. How are they doing this wehn all that air is metered? I read that they are just disconnecting everything completely and capping of the inlet under the TB... putting a filter on both valve covers and the PCV hole coming out of the block under the LIM. Would that work without having to tune the AFR?

Oops, sorry. I read one thing and posted about another. My memory is not fresh on this, but I believe as far as pcm tuning you can modifed the pcv calibrated air intake, or metered air. There is a way to tune around. Using a catch can is quick and effective though.
