2007 Fall Dragon Run pics!

As usual I took alot of pics and want to show you them all with a little story or two(hundred), so as usual please let me post all the ones I need to before you post something, this way you can enjoy all of the pics at once.


Ok, this years trip was shorter due to my new job, JD not being able to get the extra day off either and others who just couldn't make it out that particular weekend. I must say the police were out in force last weekend, but I'm wondering if its more about the time of year because this was the earliest I've ever went out there. On Sunday we tried to take one last pass throught the Dragon as saw SIX police cars, all state boys too! One even had a Merc Mauraduer with him, imagine that!! Next years meet is already shaping up to be a good one, but I'm thinking the first or second weekend of October 2008 though and for sure Thursday will be a travel day, if not a Wednesday as Hector and I spoke about already. This way we've got plenty of time to do everything, like check out the "other" roads down there that Trey spoke about to us and in addition to that you can run the Dragon on a less busy day, a work day. Ok, enough of next years run, here's the pics from THIS years run....

I think Striker is going to be working on some other issues to maximize the potential of his Tour, along with the control arms;)


Steeda, I hear you man, I'd like to go back this or next weekend too and one thing I've learned from this weekend is this, using Friday as your travel day, Saturday as your "funday" and Sunday as your travel back home day ISN'T ENOUGH:nonono: I mean I had to do what I to do this year, but rest assured next year is going to be business as usual atleast. Thursday will be the travel day and Friday AND Saturday as our "fundays" and then come home on Sunday but not leaving by the late morning though. Hector said something about using Wednesday as the travel day and I must say I have no objections to that, but I'd like to get a larger cabin and split the cost of that one seeing that is a couple more days for sure. With the prices of the cabins down there being so cheap, that's still a good idea, one that will be well thought out in time. Right after SZ08' plans will be made to get our 6th annual Fall Dragon Run on its way....It's never too early to start thinking about next year guys!
 
Finally some pics!:laugh: Anyway looked like fun as always.....I will fulfill my every other year obligation to the Dragon next year!:crazy:

The control arms were on the week before the Dragon so no worries there. and i have the other issues sorted out just waiting on a gasket.
