Crapy trunk!?

is there any way to redo that crappy trunk. Like how the flimsy carpet and wood piece always move around?? it really bugs me- i know some people have fixed it i was wondering how. Thanks!

i don't recall anyone ever fixing the carpet before, I know mine doesn't really move around.

the best I could suggest is that some have built false floors for stereos, etc.

I say have at it and see what you come up with



edit: what your do you have? the pre98 have the "wood" panel attached to the spare tire. in the post 98s the panel is in the carpet ... either way some velcro may help it stay in place ...

Original owner of my car cut some MDF and put some carpet on it.

Really strong... supports my 15" sub without any sag at all. It's also cut in half from the front to the rear to make it easier to remove.

Just take out the cardboard and trace the shape on some wood and cut it out... no more sag!
