moter swap 95 se to 98 or 99 svt moter

my contour se has a 2.5 V6 moter i wanted to swap it with a 2.5 high out put and i was just seeing if anyone has done it before would a svt computer hook up to my car

I think you would need the SVT PCM to allow for injector flow, SVT TPS, etc. Not sure if any issues would arise, though. Maybe send a PM to Brapple, he knows a bunch about the PCM swaps. :shrug:

well you can't swap the SVT PCM into a 95. you will want to install the engine and you will need to use the LIM and fuel rail off of your current 95 engine as they are different then the SVT. Also you will need to use all sensors and wiring harneses from your 95 engine. and you should be good to go. You might also want to consider a tune after the swap.

95 are a bigger pain than any other year contour to work with. OBDI vs OBDII being a big issue.

The OBD 1 contours from what i've been told are harder to tune as well. Or at least from what i've been told...
