Need Opinion On Contour Exterior

So I just need an opinion. Ok so pretend that if you guys never seen a contour before and is your first time seeing it (with Debadge All Ford/Contour Logos) would you guy know is an american car right away? I'm just curious because sometime people asked me what car do I drive then I answered Ford Contour then they just said never heard of that before.
 
are u in england or in the usa? If in england they probrably dont know that the mondeo is the same thing as a contour, its just a thought thought :)
 
I'm in USA. Well the reason I asked because I think Contour are one of the most unique out of all american cars. So you guys think does it look american at all if the car have no Ford or Contour Logo on it?
 
i think like u said it will have passerbyers look at it and think what it is, but to guys on here im sure they will know its a contour :)
 
Yes I can tell its an american car just by its styling cues. Mine dosent say contour or ford anywhere, just SVT front and back. I get Taurus alot or Escort and I usually just laugh at them.
 
Went through a McD's drive through in my Black SVT and the guy asked if it was a Honda!!!!! Still full factory badged. Said it looked nice.

Yes but this is coming from the establishment that has cashiers employed that need to call over a manager because they cannot make change when a customer hands them $20.25 for a $8.15 purchase :nonono:

Why would you give someone 20.25 when you have a 8.15 bill anyway???

Well of course. I never said is fast. Zetec is slow as hell. Oh bonus for me. Remeber the door that I painted? well I found some stock tan and I replaced it. I actually listened to you guys and took the advice.

I think you missed the point...Say I hand the cashier $20, but then I was like, "Oh wait, I have some change!" (becuase I wouldn't want MORE change back) and handed him/her a quarter. I personally have witnessed the cashier call over the manager because they cannot make change...:help:
 
The front styling of the contour is taken directly from the mondeo, so you can't say it has "american cues", except maybe from the back.
I don't care where its from necessarily, its DAMN SEXY, and thats what matters.

I get change all the time. In the winter my jacket normally has around $10 in change in the pockets LOL!
 
i would say it looks american for tha most part. Its got "lazy" curves n accents typical of most american cars. I've actually gotten bmw once believe it or not. But generally my most asked question is, "why did u put a body kit on a taurus?"
