Broken tab on headlight

I have a chance to buy a headlight for my '98. Its in good shape except it has abroken tab. The guy tells me this is an easy fix.

Is it?

It is if you still have the broken piece of the tab. Just a little epoxy or plastic weld.

If not, then you will need to make some kind of a tab yourself.

On my old set I had to cut up a piece of aluminum for a tab and screw it into the housing. Worked great.

a larger washer in between the tab and headlight screw head will hold on to the remainder of the broken tab.
