CF Hood w/ hood struts?

if you switch to a CF hood, can you still use the hood struts? thanks in advance.

From what I read yes and no. the strut manuf. says they have a strut that isnt as powerful that can be used on a cf hood. I am not going to be brave enough to put some on my hood butI'm sure someone on here has done it.

Yes, you can. Most CEGers use the redlineracing (?) hood struts. I used one of those with my CF hood with no problems.

i was thinking he meant, just using 1 strut rather than too. again i'm just guessing also... :shrug:

Yes, one strut. Two made the hood pop open too fast for my tastes.
