tn folks-
i was shocked today when i visited my favorite wreck yard outside cookeville, tn to see a crusher operating as fast as it could go ("700-800 cars...").
this has been a valuable yard for me for a number of reasons, but for any of you with time, much still could be harvested. here's the story-
this yard today has 20-25 contiques grouped together, both pre and post '98, all colors, many with interiors, cloth and leather. both engines, mtx and atx are represented- some engines are still there, others long gone. both drum and rear disc brake cars are there, and the silver svt is scheduled to be crushed complete with its engine apparently (no good body parts on this car and the interior is trashed from being open to weather for at least the 2 1/2 years that i have seen it there).
bob's on 70n (669 west broad), 800.476.8501
i have the impression that the contiques will likely be gone by the weekend!
good luck and happy harvesting! lakeside
