So I installed my B&M today, no prob. Well then I took it out for a test drive and it didn't like to go into 2nd or reverse real well. Took a look at it, and it was hitting on the... Well I'm not sure what you call the piece but I took a pic of it below. So I decided shave the "Pot Metal" down so it wouldn't hit anymore. it's fine now, but so much for an easy swap! anyone else have this porb?

i didn't have to shave anything when i did mine... however, i found that the reverse lockout wasn;t worth a damn with the b&m shifter... was always catching on it, so i took it off!

Me, too...you might want to consider adding addional bolts, though...with just two installed, mine tended to loosen.

might have something to do with the shift tower, worn bushings make for a longer throw into certain gears which might cause issues with a short throw, just my guestimation.
