Ok, I got an email back from Lotek.
I was informed that they could not give anymore discount past 20%.

So thats it folks, 20% discount.

If your pod is $44.99 - It will bring it down to $36.

If your pod is colored: $52.98 It will bring it down to 42.39


They have enough plastic to make 25 Contour pods..
So I will PM everyone on the list the coupon code once I receive it.
That way the 25 who spoke up on the list, get first dibs. Then after 2 days, I will post it in this thread. So if you people on the list want them, make sure you act fast. :cool: The coupon will only be good for (1) week. After that, nada...
But, you can still order a pod and get the discount price if it is on backorder. You just need to wait for it.


The cougar pods are limited to triple pods now. There are no dual pods available. And they have enough plastic to make (8) triple pods.

Awesome work divinity!!! We need more new members like you who step up to the plate and are willing to set up GB's. Kudo's for setting this up. I have wanted one of these for a long time and was hoping to pic one up in the classifieds but now this GB price is perfect!

No problemo. I wanted one also, and really had no problem paying the full price, but I noticed quite a bit of people wanted a pod.. So bingo bango why not a group buy. Plus I have had a lotek pod in just about every DSM I have ever owned (15ish) and they are awesome products.

I'm kind of a 'new' member, and kind of an 'old' member. I was on the old forums when I had my old 98 csvt, but hellif I can remember what my name was. It wasn't diviniti which is strange, being that its been diviniti since the beginning of time. :shrug:

Again, thanks for setting this up! Did we get a final ruling on a midnight blue color match?? I requested a black one, unless there is a color they produce that matches closely. If not I'll paint the passenger side one black.

I appreciate you taking the initiative and setting all this up. I'm also glad to have made "the cut". But I'm wondering about them having enough plastic to make the pods. Was there a drought in Japan that killed a bunch of plastic trees or maybe they weren't pollinated because all the bees are dying.:shrug: Just wondering. It sounds funny that a company that is in business to sell gauge pods only has enough plastic to make 25 pods. Maybe they're going out of business??

They may send out for pre-formed gauge pods, and possibly cut the holes when the plastic comes in. Thats my best guess. They have plastic to make other pods, but "Contour" plastic is limited to 25 pods. Thats why I think they may get them pre-formed.

According to some posts on the old forums, Dark Blue is the match for Midnight Blue (Alchemy). There were posts saying it matched almost perfect, while others from different times said it was nowhere near Midnight Blue. Sounds like "Dark Blue" is not always the same.

I guess it's a risk you'll have to take.

I just picked up a Lotek from beyondloadedSE's old car and I'm painting with PPG paint for a Midnight Blue match.
