Spotted: silver CSVT w/blue racing stripes, imagine that!

So I'm heading E bound on Hall Rd yesterday going to work (around 2:45 p.m.) and I look in my rearview and see a silver CSVT w/blue racing stripes that come to a "V" on the hood. I slow down to take a better look at the car and notice that the side skirt is painted dark blue to match the stripes. Speaking of the stripes, they go over the roof and trunk and stop there. The center reflector is busted out on one side and the dark blue theme continues onto the rear bumper cover above the valance panel. I was going to talk to the guy but he was too busy "rockin' out" to something on the radio Does anyone know about this ride?

IF it is, i'm glad its running again, it had a bad engine knock when i looked at it.

Cool, Was it running ok? The guy was selling it for like 1500 or somthing, it needed alot of work. so i passed.

That's a good question.. My guess is it is '98.5?

I have a 98.5 and I dont have a sunroof. Got my car low miles and cheap as hell though so it didnt bother me. Damn $300 to get one installed >=[

My 99 doesnt have a sunroof. I think in 99 it was an option and in 2000 it was standard. Spoilers were standard in 2000 too. :shrug:

They were still an option, though most cars had one. My 2000 didn't have one.

I believe for SVT's the sunroof was a no cost option so most dealers ordered them that way.
