New Flying Lizard paint scheme

For those that follow ALMS. I liked the older better I think for its simplicity.

That was what I thought when I 1st saw Maclaren's new F1 car, w/ the chrome looking finish. Reflection FTW! :laugh:

Most likely its a wrap.

One thing I've learned is that in a race car paint scheme you need 3 things:

1. Recognizable. It needs to be seen and identified easily.
2. Easily repaired. Crash damage and even light contact will ruin the paint.
3. Cool looking.

That paint seems to only focus on #3. Sure #2 is covered some by using a wrap, but there is so much going on in that design that it will be easy to lose it in the TV coverage.

I read the article on DSC (DailySportsCar) before the wrap was on, Didn't see the TLD logos at that point.................TODRAS !!!
