replacing o2 sensor question.

ok a have a p1151 and i am replacing the bank 1 sensor 2 o2 sensor right on the manifold in the front as if you were standing in front of the car. Went to autozone and got a bosch and the connections are different. just wondering if i can splice the old connection to the new sensor, or did they give me the wrong one?

That code is NOT related to Bank 1 sensor 2, it is related to Bank 2 sensor 1. That is the UPSTREAM sensor on the radiator side.

You either are trying to replace the wrong sensor or you purchased the wrong one or you were given the wrong one at the parts store.

Since you didn't bother to give the part numer of the one you got, it's impossible to determine what is going on.

everything is well. spliced 02 sensor yesterday and car runs alot better. drove about 65 miles and no cel. or codes found.
