metal intake

if i was to use a 3l out of a taurus around 2003 model but it had a plastic intake but i wanted the taurus intake off of an older model will it fil?

i want a full 3l in my slowtour but the metal intake looks better

I did it, but you have to cut the port in the head to accept split port.
